Walking Montalbano September

Walking Montalbano guided walks, organized by the Municipality of Lamporecchio and the tourist office San Baronto-Lamporecchio, continue in September before the winter break.

On Wednesday September 5th at 5.30 pm after a quick visit of the Church and its evocative Romanic crypt in San Baronto, our guide will lead you to discover some of the most amazing views of our hill when the sun begins to set uncovering nature’s most beautiful colours. The participants who want to eat in the fields can bring with them sandwiches, drinks and the necessary things for a picnic.

On Sunday September 9th at 4 pm after a pleasant walk in the park, our guide will show you one of our territory’s jewels, the magnificent Villa Rospigliosi surrounded by a luxuriant Italian Renaissance garden.

On Saturday September 22nd at 9.30 am we present a brand new walk starting from the Church of San Baronto. Following the Pasqualino path we will reach Gironi quarries where the stonemasons took the stone to make their works. The visit goes on to Forrottoli to head back to San Baronto.

On Sunday September 16 “Passo dopo passo” is coming back. A non-competitive walk with two itineraries of different difficulty and length (5 km e 13 km).  The proceeds of the event will be donated for the purchase of sports equipment for the gym of Francesco Berni Secondary School.
Start and finish: public gardens Lamporecchio.
From 7.30 am to 8.30 am: meeting and subscriptions.
9 am: start of the walk with refreshments along the trails.
