Lamporecchio’s Fair – Brigidino Festival from July 28th to August 8th
The 2018 Lamporecchio’s Fair edition presents lots of news. It is supported by Regione Toscana and it originates from the cooperation between Municipality and Lamporecchio’s shop-keepers association who have created a rich programme with a preview of some side events and the summer concert by Banda Comunale Giacomo Puccini.
Tuesday August 7th and Wednesday 8th, called “Fierino”, will be the highlights when every corner of the village will become animated by events of any kind for families and youngsters. Street food trucks are coming back and in via Vitoni a craft and antiques market will be set up. A rich programme with street artists and street bands and in piazza Salvo D’Acquisto the unmissable Luna Park. But the main protagonist is the brigidino, Lamporecchio’s famous sweet, which will be distributed to people along the streets on Tuesday evening, together with Caracosta twirlers.

3.30 p.m. Tractors meeting and animals exhibition – Public gardens, via Aldo Moro

9.30 p.m. Night ploughing in the fields by Associazione “Amici del Trattore di Lamporecchio” – Varignano, Lamporecchio
SUNDAY JULY 29
9 a.m. Tractors meeting and animals exhibition – Public gardens, via Aldo Moro
10.30 a.m. Tractors parade along the streets with cocktail at Bar Sandro Vero and lunch at Circolo Tamburini, Cerbaia.
5 p.m. Ploughing in the fields by Associazione “Amici del Trattore di Lamporecchio” – piazza Salvo d’Acquisto
