This month Lamporecchio will be the protagonist of three unmissable sport events of great importance in Italy and abroad.
On Sunday May 12 the second stage of the Giro d’Italia will pass along our streets.
The streets will be closed in the two hours before the race (from 2.30 pm) that is scheduled between 4.30 and 5 p.m. until the end of the passing of the race.

On May 17 the famous race of historic cars, Mille Miglia, coming from Vinci will stop in Lamporecchio from around 10.30 am in Piazza Berni.
The third event is the tradional Valdinievole car rally on Saturday May 18 with a special competition in via Giugnano and on Sunday May 19 with the special competition from 8 am to 1 pm in Orbignano, Fornello, Porciano, San Baronto and Spicchio.
